Megan and Gus found me through a wedding open house that I was presenting at earlier this year, and they were looking for a photographer to capture their big moments. Through all of the excitement of the open house, I was able to get general information from the two of them before wishing them congrats, and seeing the next couple come to my booth.

A little while later, Megan, Gus, and I all met up at a local coffee shop to get to know each other a little better - They've been in love for quite some time now, and they are SUPER excited to start planning their big day! They definitely have a lot of time to make sure everything is PERFECT - They are to be wed in December of 2023!

Megan is a girl after my own heart - She loves the fall, and requested a fall engagement session. Being the first "true" fall engagment session of the season, the morning of their session, I was dressed and ready to go - And still had about 10 hours before I even needed to leave! We had their engagement session at my all-time favorite location, Cantigny Park in Wheaton. What started out being a gloomy morning, turned out to be an amazing evening for an engagement session! The skies cleared up just as I left the house, and the evening turned out to be GORGEOUS.

We didn't know that when we would get to Cantigny, parking would be almost impossible - there was at least 2 weddings, and homecoming was this weekend, so the park was super busy. That didn't stop these two from expressing their love for one another! Megan was full of laughter from start to finish, and Gus was along for the ride, happy to do whatever we told him (Seriously - we even mentioned doing the splits as a joke, and Megan's response to him was "Please don't!")
