Natalia and David's Wedding

The Carlisle Banquets - Lombard, IL

Here's another fall wedding for you! Natalia and David were married earlier this October at St. Andrew's Ukranian Orthodox Church in Bloomingdale, IL.

Their love story started off over a trip to Starbucks, where they noticed that they both had the same drink. Soon after that, they began hanging out, and eventually, went on a trip to Starved Rock shortly after meeting. Natalia had told her parents that she was going hiking with a new guy, and while mom and dad were nervous to let her go with someone they didn't know, after Natalia and David promised to continually check in, Mom and Dad let these two embark on the beginning of their life together.

Their wedding day was one of the calmest I've experienced. Upon entering the bridal suite the morning of the wedding, Natalia was laughing with her bridesmaids while getting hair and makeup done, Mom was getting everyone's dresses in order, and the whole morning was just - SO ORGANIZED. (which speaks to my OCD heart SO WELL). There were Costco muffins and Starbucks to fuel the ladies for their busy day, and right before we left for the church, Natalia and her girls took a shot of some liquid courage to help amp them up for the ceremony.

Because Natalia and David had an engagement session with me earlier this year, (you can see the post HERE), they were relaxed during all of their portraits, and we were able to fly through portraits and family formals - because they trusted my process, and knew how I worked. And while the weather may have been gloomy with rain showers off and on all day, we had enough time to sneak out after the ceremony and right before cocktail hour to grab some couple images of the two of them!

Natalia and David, I just want to thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your big day. I am truly blessed to call you both friends, and I can't wait to see where your next adventure leads you!
